Cabinet Thirty-One specializes in vegan, gluten-free baked goods and eclectic used books.
Why vegan? Because animals are here with us, not for us. We don’t support or participate in animal exploitation in any form; that includes using animals for their skin, fur, secretions, flesh; testing products on them; using them as entertainment; etc. This is what veganism means (it’s not just about eating a plant-based diet). If you’re interested in learning more, there are lots of great documentaries (e.g., Dominion) and books (e.g., Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer). 🐾
Why gluten-free? Because everyone needs a treat now and then, and we don’t want our GF friends to ever be left out. 🧁
